Product Description

Ammonium bicarbonate is a white compound with the chemical formula NH4HCO3. It is in the form of granular, plate-like or columnar crystals and has an ammonia odor. Ammonium bicarbonate is a carbonate, so it must not be placed together with acid, because the acid will react with the ammonium bicarbonate to produce carbon dioxide, which will cause the ammonium bicarbonate to deteriorate. However, in rural areas, ammonium bicarbonate can also be used to react with acid. The ammonium bicarbonate is placed in a vegetable greenhouse, the greenhouse is sealed, the ammonium bicarbonate is placed at a high place, and dilute hydrochloric acid is added. At this time, ammonium bicarbonate will react with hydrochloric acid to produce ammonium chloride, water and carbon dioxide.
