Product Description

Activated carbon, also called activated charcoal, is a form of carbon commonly used to filter contaminants from water and air, among many other uses. It is processed (activated) to have small, low-volume pores that increase the surface area available for adsorption (which is not the same as absorption) or chemical reactions. Activation is analogous to making popcorn from dried corn kernels: popcorn is light, fluffy, and its kernels have a high surface-area-to-volume ratio. Activated is sometimes replaced by active.

Due to its high degree of microporosity, one gram of activated carbon has a surface area in excess of 3,000 m2 (32,000 sq ft) as determined by gas adsorption. Charcoal, before activation, has a specific surface area in the range of 2.0-5.0 m2/g. An activation level sufficient for useful application may be obtained solely from high surface area. Further chemical treatment often enhances adsorption properties.

Activated carbon is usually derived from waste products such as coconut husks; waste from paper mills has been studied as a source.These bulk sources are converted into charcoal before being 'activated'. When derived from coal it is referred to as activated coal. Activated coke is derived from coke.

(1) GAC-YK: Briquette crushing activated carbon
Using the optimized low ash and low sulfur bituminous coal, advanced grinding and re molding briquetting process, it has high strength and excellent activity. Using strict steam activation process, it has high specific surface area and optimized pore size to adsorb color molecules and odor molecules in the solution.
It is used for the deep purification of direct drinking water to effectively remove residual chlorine and ensure the safety of drinking water. It has both filtering function and adsorption function.

(2) GAC-YK-SX: Pickling activated carbon
The briquetted carbon and raw coal crushed carbon can be pickled. The effect of activated carbon after pickling:
Remove soluble inorganic salt ash and degrade TDS concentration.
Adjust pH and improve the taste of water.
Reduce the dust on the surface of activated carbon and in the gap, and reduce the amount of black water.
 
(3) PAC-YJ: Powdered activated carbon
It is used to remove the abnormal odor and peculiar smell in the tap water source produced seasonally, and can also be used as an emergency for water pollution accidents.

It has good diffusion performance and high adsorption efficiency. It is suitable for water plants, sewage treatment plants and decolorization and refining of solutions.

(4) GAC-YM: Raw coal crushing activated carbon
It is used for the advanced purification of municipal water and all kinds of sewage. At the same time, it is widely used in the fields of food, chemical industry, electroplating, pharmaceutical wastewater and so on.

(1) TL-9mm: Desulfurization and denitration activated carbon
Desulfurization and denitration activated carbon is a semi coke activated carbon formed by carbonization, activation and oxidation by selecting high-quality coal, fine grinding coal into powder, accurately metering and kneading with tar and water, oil pressure as columnar particles.
It has unique pore structure, large wear resistance and pressure resistance, and superior desulfurization and denitration performance.
The flue gas desulfurization and denitration devices of heat supply power plants, coal-fired boilers and steel sintering machines are used to solve the treatment of acid rain in air pollution.
